Spring Grassroots Academy Registration - Mendocino County Soccer Academy (MCSA)

Welcome to MCSA’s Grassroots Academy, the cornerstone of our youth development programs! Designed for young players just starting their soccer journey, our Grassroots Academy ensures that every child’s first soccer experience is positive, memorable, and fun.

Why Grassroots Academy?

Our professional coaching staff is dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of soccer while fostering a love for the game in a safe and encouraging environment. This program focuses solely on practice sessions, allowing kids to learn and improve without the pressure of games.

Grassroots Academy is the first foundational step in our MCSA Developmental Pathway.

Fun and Engaging Sessions

  • No lines, no laps—just fun!
  • Interactive games such as Lions on the Loose, Red Stop, Green Go, Ice Monsters, and more.
  • Every child gets their own ball, ensuring they are actively involved.
  • Training two days a week: Practice only, allowing your child to fall in love with soccer while learning the game at their own pace.

Program Details

  • Start Date: April 7th
  • End Date: May 23rd
  • Duration: 7 weeks of engaging practice sessions.
  • Locations & Schedule:
    • Ukiah - Tuesdays and Fridays:
      • U6 (Birth Years 2019-2021): 4:30-5:15 PM - $115
      • U8 (2017-18): 5:25-6:25 PM - $135
      • U10 (2015-16): 6:30-7:30 PM - $135
    • Willits - Mondays and Wednesdays:
      • U6 (Birth years 2019-2021): 4:15-5:00 PM - $115
      • U8 (2017-18): 5:00-6:00 PM - $135
      • U11 (2014-16): 6:00-7:15 PM - $145
