MCSA Summer & Fall 2025 Program Guide: Your Player Path Starts Here

Players from across Mendocino County come together through MCSA’s Select Program to train, compete, and grow as a team. Led by Coach Javier, this group embodies what it means to work hard, play together, and represent our region with pride.
Welcome to the complete guide for Mendocino County Sports Academy’s summer and fall 2025 programming. Whether your child is just starting their journey in soccer or looking to take the next step in our player development pathway, everything you need is right here.
Grassroots Academy (U6–U8)
Where the journey begins.
The first stop in the MCSA Developmental Pathway. Grassroots Academy is a practice-only program focused on fun, fundamentals, and building confidence.
- Ages: U6–U8 (Birth Years 2018–2021)
- Locations: Ukiah, Willits, Mendocino.
- Practices: 2x/week, games not included
- 9 Weeks: Starts the week of August 18th – October 17th
- Emphasis: Active learning, fun games, foundational skills

Developmental Soccer League (DSL) — Fall 2025
Where play meets purpose.
Our county-wide fall league designed for fun, growth, and connection. DSL offers structured training and Saturday games with professional oversight and community support.
- Ages: U10–U15 (Birth Years 2010–2017)
- Locations: Ukiah, Willits, Mendocino, Laytonville
- Season: Aug 11 – Oct 25, 2025
- Format: Weekly pro-led group training + local team practices in hometown during the week + Saturday games

Our summer camps bring high-energy learning and connection to three local communities:
Ukiah Camp
- Dates: June 9–13
- Location: Ukiah High School
- Ages: U6–U14
Willits Camp
- Dates: June 16–20
- Location: Willits Commercial Street Field
- Ages: U8–U14
Mendocino Coast Camp
- Dates: June 23–27
- Location: Mendocino High School
- Ages: U6–U14

Summer Sports Performance Program
Where speed, strength, and injury prevention come together.
Led by Coach Gabe Ott, MCSA’s new Sports Performance Director is built to help athletes get faster, stronger, and more resilient. With a focus on speed mechanics, agility, strength, and recovery, this program supports young athletes across all sports.
Open to players ages 8-14, the program runs twice a week for 6 weeks at Ukiah High School Track The Sports Performance Program is a key part of our expanded athlete development model—whether your child plays soccer, football, volleyball, wrestles, or runs track, these sessions are built to elevate performance and prevent injury.

Quarterback & Wide Receiver Clinic
Where skill meets precision—and leadership takes the snap.
This summer, Mendocino County Sports Academy is proud to launch our first-ever Quarterback and Wide Receiver Clinic, designed to elevate football fundamentals for young athletes who want to lead, compete, and grow.
Led by Coach Paul Cronin, Head Coach at Ukiah High and one of Northern California’s most respected football minds, this 4-week summer series provides focused, high-quality training in a fun, supportive environment. Whether your athlete is new to the game or sharpening their craft, this clinic is built to build confidence, footwork, and football IQ.

Scholarships Available
We are committed to serving all children regardless of a family’s ability to pay. We offer 25%-50% scholarships which can be applied for here.
